Grading Results
Congratulations to both Tracy and Dennis Willmott for passing their respective belts on Monday 11 May 2015. The next MISOMA grading will take place on Monday 10 August 2015. Students wishing to go for their next belt must have attended the mandatory amount of lesssons respective to their grade. As well as class attendance, effort and focus will determine whether or not you will be eligable to grade. I wish in advance the very best of luck to those that will be taking part.

MISOMA Pushup Competition Results!

As an initiative to encourage the overall performance of students at MISOMA, we have started holding various competitions throughout the year. As we believe it to be a fun way for students to compete for a prize and increase their Martial fitness at the same time.
To kick things off for the month of May, we held a Pushups competition, which was fiercely fought between Dennis Willmott and Morgan Ifill. Den led right up to the final day in May with an amazing score of 81 pushups and seemed sure to win. However, Morgan who had been close on his heels and had been improving his score every lesson, managed to pull it out the bag with an incredible score of 85 pushups! I would like to congratulate not only Morgan and Den, but all students that took part in the competition. You did yourselves proud and will be stronger for the experience.
The final results for the top three competitors are as follows:
First Place: Morgan Ifill - 85 pushups
Second Place: Dennis Willmott - 80 pushups
Third place: Marlan Ifill - 53 pushups
Students should note that our next competition will be held in July and will be a competition to see who can do the most kicks in 2 minutes. Best of luck to those that intend to take part!
